About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website, proverbai.io, which is run by ProverbAI LLC ("ProverbAI", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The ProverbAI platform

ProverbAI is in testing and has not yet been released to institutions.

These terms cover the website only. An institution's use of the ProverbAI app (app.proverbai.io) is governed by a separate subscription agreement, made with that institution. Nothing on this site is an offer to provide the service on particular terms.

Using the site

You are welcome to read the site, share its pages and use the Talk to us form to reach us. Please do not:

  • use the site in a way that breaks the law or anyone else's rights;
  • try to get into parts of the site or our systems that are not meant for you, or interfere with how they work;
  • send large volumes of automated requests, or copy the site's content in bulk;
  • send false information, harmful code or other people's personal information through the form;
  • suggest that ProverbAI endorses you, or that you speak for us.

If you find a security problem, please tell us at hello@proverbai.io rather than testing it further.

Information on the site

We write the site carefully, but it is general information about ProverbAI and assessment practice. It is not legal, compliance or accreditation advice, and it does not replace your own judgment or your accreditor's requirements. No accreditor endorsement is implied.

The site describes what the first release of ProverbAI does. Some of it is still being built, and details may change before release.

Illustrations

The drawings on this site are illustrations. They do not show results from any institution and are not claims about how accurate the AI is.

Intellectual property

The site, its text, design and illustrations, the ProverbAI name and logo, and the ProverbAI software belong to ProverbAI LLC or to those who license them to us.

So does ProverbAI's review method: the review form, the rubric that sets how each question is answered, and the formulas that turn answers into scores. The site shows the form's parts and points; that does not give anyone a licence to use the form, the rubric or the formulas.

You may view, print and share pages for your own information, including to consider ProverbAI for your institution. Please do not copy or republish the site's content, or use it to build a competing product, without our written permission.

What you send us

When you write to us, please send only what we need to reply, and do not send student records or confidential institutional evidence. We handle what you send as our privacy policy describes. If you share ideas or feedback about ProverbAI, we may use them to improve it without owing you anything for them.

When the site links to a site we do not run, we are not responsible for that site's content or practices.

No warranty

We provide the website as it is and as available. We work to keep it accurate, secure and working, but we do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors or up to date. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties about the website, express or implied.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, ProverbAI is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit or opportunity, that comes from using the website or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

These limits apply to the website. Responsibilities for the ProverbAI service are set out in each institution's agreement.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site and the product change, and we will change the date at the top when we do. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
